বিশ্বনাথ-ওসমানীনগরে ড্যাবের ফ্রি চিকিৎসা কার্যক্রম সফলে সভা

বিশ্বনাথ-ওসমানীনগরে মানবিক সেবার নতুন ইতিহাস রচনার পথে এগিয়ে চলেছেন বিএনপির ভারপ্রাপ্ত চেয়ারম্যান তারেক রহমানের পররাষ্ট্র বিষয়ক উপদেষ্টা হুমায়ুন কবির। তার সার্বিক ব্যবস্থাপনায় জিয়া ফাউন্ডেশন ও ডক্টরস অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব বাংলাদেশ (ড্যাব) প্রথমবারের মতো একযোগে অসহায় মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে।

In Bishwanath-Osmaninagar, Humayun Kabir, Foreign Affairs Advisor to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, is leading the way in creating a new chapter of humanitarian service. Under his overall supervision, Zia Foundation and the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) have jointly initiated a program to support the underprivileged for the first time.

এ উপলক্ষে বৃহৎ পরিসরে প্রস্তুতি সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়, যা ইতিমধ্যেই স্থানীয় জনমনে ব্যাপক সাড়া ফেলেছে। On this occasion, a large-scale preparation meeting was held, which has already generated significant enthusiasm among the local population.

ড্যাবের নতুন কমিটির প্রথম কার্যক্রম হিসেবে এই উদ্যোগকে অনেকে “মানবিক বিপ্লব” বলে আখ্যা দিয়েছেন। Many have described this initiative, the first activity of DAB’s new committee, as a “humanitarian revolution.”

সভায় জানানো হয়, প্রথম ধাপে একাধিক চিকিৎসক নিয়ে একটি বিশেষজ্ঞ টিম গঠন করা হয়েছে। It was announced at the meeting that, in the first phase, a team of multiple doctors has been formed. তারা অসহায় রোগীদের বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা ও ওষুধ সরবরাহ করবেন।

They will provide free medical treatment and medicines to the underprivileged patients.

পাশাপাশি প্রয়োজনে অপারেশনেরও ব্যবস্থা করা হবে। Additionally, surgical arrangements will be made if necessary.

অর্থাভাবে যারা চিকিৎসা থেকে বঞ্চিত হন, তারা এ উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে নতুন আশার আলো দেখতে পাবেন। Those who have been deprived of treatment due to financial constraints will find new hope through this initiative.

বক্তারা বলেন, রাজনীতির বাইরে সমাজসেবা হলো হুমায়ুন কবিরের অন্যতম শক্তি। Speakers said that beyond politics, social service is one of Humayun Kabir’s greatest strengths.

প্রবাসে থেকেও তিনি সবসময় এলাকার মানুষের দুঃখ-দুর্দশায় পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছেন। Even from abroad, he has always stood by the people of the area in their times of hardship.

তিনি বিশ্বাস করেন, রাজনীতি মানে শুধু ক্ষমতার লড়াই নয়—রাজনীতি মানে মানুষের সেবা, মানুষের কল্যাণ।

He believes that politics is not just a struggle for power—politics means serving the people and promoting their welfare.

সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন—অবিভক্ত বালাগঞ্জ উপজেলার সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান আব্দাল মিয়া, ওসমানীনগর উপজেলার ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান গয়াস মিয়া, তাজপুর ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান ইমরান রব্বানী, উমরপুর ইউনিয়ন বিএনপির সাবেক সভাপতি আব্দুর রউফ, বিশিষ্ট রাজনীতিবিদ মোকসুদ মিয়া, গোয়ালাবাজার ইউনিয়নের সাবেক মেম্বার ও বিএনপির শ্রম বিষয়ক সম্পাদক সাইস্তা মিয়া, উসমানপুর ইউনিয়ন বিএনপির সাবেক সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক আব্দুর রব, কৃষক দলের সাবেক যুগ্ম সম্পাদক তহসিল মিয়া, আলাউর রহমান ইওয়ার, ইয়াওর আলী, সমর আলী, মো. দিদার হোসেন, খাদিমপুর গ্রামের নিজাম উদ্দিন, পিয়ার আলী, সৈয়দ মান্দারুকার দবির আলী, বাবুল মিয়াসহ অসংখ্য স্থানীয় নেতাকর্মী।

Present at the meeting were—former Chairman of undivided Balaganj Upazila Abdal Mia, Vice Chairman of Osmaninagar Upazila Goyas Mia, Chairman of Tajpur Union Imran Rabbani, former President of Umarpur Union BNP Abdur Rauf, prominent politician Moksud Mia, former member of Goalabazar Union and BNP Labor Secretary Saista Mia, former Organizing Secretary of Osmanpur Union BNP Abdur Rob, former Joint Secretary of Osmaninagar Farmers’ Association Tahsil Mia, Alaur Rahman Iwar, Yawar Ali, Samar Ali, Md. Didar Hossain, Nizam Uddin of Khadimpur village, Piar Ali, Syed Mandarukar Dabir Ali, Babul Mia, along with numerous local leaders and activists.

বক্তারা জোর দিয়ে বলেন, হুমায়ুন কবির শুধু একজন রাজনৈতিক ব্যক্তিত্ব নন, তিনি একজন দূরদর্শী সংগঠক ও মানবতার কল্যাণকামী নেতা।

Speakers emphasized that Humayun Kabir is not only a political figure, but also a visionary organizer and a humanitarian leader.

তার ত্যাগ ও নিষ্ঠা জনসাধারণের আস্থার প্রতীক হয়ে উঠেছে। His dedication and commitment have become a symbol of public trust.

আজকের এই উদ্যোগ তার ভবিষ্যৎ নেতৃত্বের যোগ্যতাকে আরও উজ্জ্বলভাবে সামনে নিয়ে আসছে। Today’s initiative further highlights his suitability for future leadership.

সভায় সিদ্ধান্ত হয়, উপজেলা পর্যায়ে প্রতিটি ইউনিয়নে বৈঠক আয়োজনের মাধ্যমে ফ্রি চিকিৎসা কর্মসূচির দাওয়াত পৌঁছে দেওয়া হবে।

It was decided at the meeting that, at the Upazila level, meetings would be organized in every union to extend invitations for the free medical program.

এ দায়িত্ব হুমায়ুন গ্রুপের নেতাকর্মীদের কাঁধে দেওয়া হয়েছে। This responsibility has been entrusted to the leaders and activists of the Humayun group.

এভাবে প্রতিটি গ্রামে, প্রতিটি পরিবারে এই মানবিক বার্তা পৌঁছে যাবে—“রাজনীতি মানে সেবা, আর সেবাই হুমায়ুন কবিরের রাজনীতি।”

In this way, this humanitarian message will reach every village and every household—“Politics means service, and service is Humayun Kabir’s politics.”

সভা শেষে আয়োজকরা দৃঢ় কণ্ঠে বলেন, হুমায়ুন কবিরের নেতৃত্বেই এই অঞ্চলে একটি নতুন দিগন্ত উন্মোচিত হচ্ছে।

At the end of the meeting, the organizers stated firmly that under Humayun Kabir’s leadership, a new horizon is being unveiled in this region.

জনগণ আজ আশায় বুক বাঁধছে—আগামী দিনে তার হাত ধরে বিশ্বনাথ-ওসমানীনগর উন্নয়ন, ঐক্য ও মানবিকতার নতুন ঠিকানায় পৌঁছে যাবে।

The people are filled with hope today—under his guidance, Bishwanath-Osmaninagar will reach new heights of development, unity, and humanity in the days to come.
